Cured from asthma
A year ago Nadia had to take asthma medications every day to avoid coughing, especially humid and windy days would make it worse.
Already as a small child, Nadia was often snotty and getting coughs. Growing older did not help much; she was often tired and ill during most of the year, especially winter time. Even her PE lessons suffered, as she could not participate fully.
The doctors said she had a sensitive respiratory system, and her parents accepted this.
When Nadia was six years old she was taken in to hospital with a urinal infection and at this point the hospital noticed her coughing and made same further examinations.
She was allergic to cats and birch pollen, and was given asthma medications. This helped her and the coughing almost disappeared, but her mother Malene was not happy about giving her daughter the medication.
-“Asthma medication contains hormones and as a parent you are always wary about giving your child this on a daily basis. But as it helped my daughter we accepted it”
She is of the opinion, though, that the medicine affected her daughter, as the year she was on it she stopped growing and started developing breasts. The doctors were not sure this was due to the asthma medicine, but they kept an eye on her.
-“I also had an early puberty”, Malene says, “but Nadia was only eight years at this point. Having read about SensiStop we decided to approach this with an open mind and willing to try something to get her out of the asthma medicine treatment”
The treatment lasted four months and by the end of it Nadia’s cough was gone.
A new allergy test showed she was no longer allergic and her lung capacity had improved. She is not taking the asthma medication any more and this winter she has not been ill at all and enjoys being able to do sports, Nadia is now attending karate twice a week.
